Japan Law Practice
Ms. Rie Ishizuka is the only Japanese-born and educated lawyer practising in Ontario. Ms. Ishizuka earned a law degree in Japan and subsequently graduated from the McGill University law school in Canada. Having worked in business in Japan, Ms. Ishizuka offers a unique combination of business and legal knowledge to the Japanese business community in the Greater Toronto Area. With her knowledge of both the Japanese and Canadian legal systems, Ms. Ishizuka is uniquely qualified to advise the Japanese business community on the nature of the differences between the two systems and their practical commercial significance. While Ms. Ishizuka's focus is on employment and commercial law, she is also able to draw on the extensive experience of her colleagues in providing counsel to businesses regarding the commercial litigation department's various practice areas.
Criminal Law
Cameron Fiske's practice involves both commercial and criminal law. He addresses all issues of a criminal or quasi-criminal nature that may arise out of or in conjunction with the cases in which the commercial litigation department is involved.
